clear picture.
What we do, how we work, the Workbench, and the next step.
The work
What does Black Knight AI do?
We’re an AI transformation firm. We take companies from legacy to AI-native two ways: by redesigning and automating how the business runs, and by turning your leaders and key people into AI power users. One method delivers both: Assess, Build, Embed, Run. See what we do.
Who is this for?
Leaders of mid-sized companies, such as CEOs, owners and COOs, who want AI doing real work across the business. The method also works for a single team inside a larger company.
Do you work with companies of all sizes?
We focus on mid-sized companies. The method also works for a single team or a large enterprise. What matters is a leadership team that wants AI to do useful work rather than remain a topic.
Do you specialize in an industry?
No. The method isn’t tied to an industry. We start from your processes, your team and your priorities rather than a template.
What makes Black Knight AI different from other AI consultants?
Most firms offer training or a point solution. We work on the whole system: the people who own the work, the agents that help them, and the business context behind every decision, with security and governance in the plan from the first conversation. A senior lead is accountable for every engagement, and you see a working version early rather than a slide at the end.
The assessment
Is the AI-Native Assessment paid?
Yes. We agree the business question, deliverables, participants, timing and fee in writing before paid work begins.
Is the first conversation part of the paid assessment?
No. An introductory conversation carries no commitment. The paid assessment begins only after you agree its scope, timing and fee.
What do we get from the assessment?
Prioritized opportunities, current-state measures, the systems and information each opportunity needs, owners, and a practical implementation roadmap. The agreed scope sets the exact deliverables, and you leave with a clear decision: proceed, resolve a requirement, or stop.
How much does it cost, and how long does it take?
The fee and timing depend on the processes, participants and information involved. We set them out in the assessment scope before you commit. Most assessments run a few weeks.
What happens after the assessment?
Where there’s a useful case to proceed, Build, Embed and Run are scoped separately: building the workflows, making them part of the working day, and keeping them running. You can stop at any stage.
Working with us
Who leads the engagement?
A senior practitioner leads every engagement and owns the result, from the assessment through implementation and ongoing support.
Can you work with our existing tools and team?
Usually. We start with the systems your people already use and work out what can connect directly, what needs a browser, and what needs to change. We are not tied to a vendor, and specific integrations depend on your environment and the agreed scope.
How do we start?
With an introductory conversation about one process and whether we are a fit. Send a note from the contact page or email hello@blackknightai.com.
The Executive Workbench
What is the Executive Workbench?
A tool we use to get people working with AI: your own AI agent, Codex in ChatGPT or Claude, set up on your computer and connected to your email, calendar and files, with a notes folder it remembers and rules that keep you in control. It works across your apps and websites to finish real tasks: research, documents, spreadsheets, work in websites and follow-ups. Nothing goes out without your yes. See the Executive Workbench page.
Is the Workbench free?
The self-setup kit is free. You bring your own paid ChatGPT or Claude plan. Rolling it out across a team, with setup and training, is a paid engagement scoped in writing.
Are the examples on this site live demos?
No. They are illustrations of work the Executive Workbench is set up to do, with fictional companies and sample data. The full example includes a real proposal and workbook you can open. What a given setup can reach depends on its AI plan, the computer and the connections you approve, and it always stops for your OK before it submits, pays or sends.
Do we need the Workbench to work with you?
No. Companies can start with a conversation about a process. The Workbench is one way in, not a requirement.
Could you set it up for our team?
Yes. A team rollout is a paid engagement that starts with your leadership team and key people: IT approval for company accounts, the right connections, training, and a first real task with each person. We agree the scope and fee in writing first.
Information and security
Do we need to share sensitive information to get started?
No confidential files or account access are needed for an introductory conversation. Start with a description of the business question. Any later information access is agreed for the specific work.
How do you handle security and compliance?
Security and governance are part of every engagement rather than an afterthought. We work out which security, privacy and regulatory requirements apply to your information, such as SOC 2, HIPAA or GDPR, before anything is built, and we agree who owns each source of information and who reviews the result. Periodic reviews of access, sources and agent behavior are part of ongoing support.
